Following the Capacity Building on Human Rights for Thailand’s Youth program, which saw youth from across Thailand participate in online discussions with human rights activists and defenders, IIPDS, in collaboration with ARF and AMAN, released a meaningful publication containing a collection of the young participants’ thoughts and experiences regarding human rights.
The youth and thoughts behind the publication From YOUth to You: Thailand Young Voices for Human Rights will be presented to a larger audience during the event, with the goal of spreading the message of hope and encouragement.
The discussion on the role of youth in defending human rights will be led by Petcharat Saksirivetkul, Head of Campaign at Amnesty International Thailand (also a resource person for the training) and Saittawut Yutthaworakool, Social Studies Teacher and also the facilitator of the training and editor of the publication.
