The plight of Afghan children, women, elders and people of all ages does not need an introduction. The whole world seems helplessly witnessing a disaster unfold.
The recent events in Afghanistan have reportedly forced around 550,000 people out of their homes, which adds to the millions already displaced by decades of conflict, chronic poverty and severe drought. Having run for their lives with little more than the clothes on their backs, they are in urgent need of support.
Thanks to private donations, AMAN already began its relief efforts with our local partners on the ground providing life-saving packages to 100 families.
